The production crew of Crash Landing on You, tvN‘s latest hit series starring Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin, made a contribution to a local charity prevent the contagion of COVID-19 (the new Coronavirus).
On Feb. 28, Culture Depot and Studio Dragon Corporation, two production companies of the drama, donated KRW 100 million to the Hope Bridge Association of the National Disaster Relief. On the same day, Park Ji Eun, the scriptwriter of Crash Landing on You, personally donated KRW 30 million to the organization.
The production staff of Crash Landing on You agreed to donate money in unison for those who are suffering from COVID-19 including the medical teams and the disinfection ones. Even though Crash Landing on You recently ended with its record-high ratings, they seem to have chosen to repay the drama’s viewers for their love and support instead of enjoying a reward vacation. An official involved in the production team of Crash Landing on You said, “we wish the current situation [the spread of COVID-19] subside very soon.”
