It was recently revealed by The Seoul Social Welfare Fundraiser that the celebrity couple Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah each donated 100 million won (approximately $83,000 USD) in hopes of helping to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
The fundraising platform stated that the couple’s generous donation will be used to purchase face masks and hand sanitizers for those who aren’t financially capable of purchasing these necessities in order to protect themselves.
The couple’s label, AM Entertainment, also released a statement on behalf of the two celebrities saying,
“Kim Woo Bin recently heard the unfortunate news that people who live in social welfare facilities are vulnerable to the coronavirus outbreak. He asked that his donation be used to help those who need financial assistance in obtaining necessary help in preventing the illness from spreading.
Shin Min Ah wanted to help the medical responders who are working to fight against the coronavirus, as well as those who are vulnerable to the illness. She donated 100 million won to help those in need.”
Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah have been publicly dating for over five years now, and are well known to be philanthropists who continuously donate in secret to those in need. If they aren’t couple goals, we don’t know what is!
