‘Itaewon Class’ Is Already 2nd Highest-Rated Drama In JTBC’s History

Itaewon Class, the latest JTBC drama starring Park Seo Joon, Kim Da Mi and Yoo Jae Myung, is driving a hot craze to the small screens through the last eight episodes while breaking a record on its all-time viewer ratings day by day.

According to the figures surveyed on a pay-per-view (PPV) basis by Nielsen Korea, the 8th episode (aired on Feb. 22, KST) of Itaewon Class scored the average ratings of 12.6 percent nationwide and 14 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area. These are the second highest ratings in history of JTBC dramas, standing just below SKY Castle. SKY Castle, the highest-rated drama in JTBC’s history ever, recorded 23.779 percent nationwide only by its final episode based on PPVs. Congratulations to the crews of Itaewon Class, and wish the drama beat another brand-new record forward!
