BTS Tops iTunes Charts in 81 Different Countries

BTS topped real-time charts on five major music sites – Melon, Flo, Genie, Bugs and Soribada – with their title song “ON” as of 7 p.m on Feb 21, one hour after the official release of the song with its fourth full-length album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7.

In particular, Melon, Korea’s largest music site, recorded 123,489 entry users within an hour. This is the largest number of users ever since the Melon chart was reorganized in February 2017.

The song has also swept overseas charts as well.

MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 ranked No. 1 on iTunes’ Top Album Chart in 81 countries and regions, including the United States, Britain, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Russia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, as of 10 p.m. on Feb. 21.

The title song “ON” topped the iTunes “Top Song Chart” of 73 countries and regions, including the United States, Britain, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada and France.
