MONSTA X appeared on NBC‘s The Today Show, aired in the morning on Feb. 20 (in local time) to promote its first American full album ALL ABOUT LUV.
The Today Show introduced MONSTA X and its career in detail through the segment “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna”. Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, the hosts of this segment, especially called MONSTA X as “the hottest K-Pop group in the world”, explaining that K-Pop has become mainstream in the U.S. They also mentioned that MONSTA X would start a new tour this summer, saying “ALL ABOUT LUV, which was released last Valentine’s Day, has been well-received by the U.S. music scene.” Indeed, the Time magazine recently selected “You Can’t Hold My Heart”, the lead single of ALL ABOUT LUV, as one of the “The 5 Best Songs of the Week”.
After the introduction, five members of MONSTA X came on the stage to perform “You Can’t Hold My Heart” and showed off their soft and sweet vocals, making the audience and local fans happily. They also met their fans on the backstage for a surprise event. We wish MONSTA X succeed even more in the U.S!
