Kim Soo Hyun is starring in a new drama Psycho But It’s Okay (literal translation).

After his cameo appearance in Hotel Del Luna and Crash Landing On You, Kim Soo Hyun officially confirmed his return to You’re Psycho, But It’s Okay.

Psycho But It’s Okay is a fantasy-like healing romance drama about a psych ward community worker who refuses to love from being oppressed by the weight of life and a storybook writer who doesn’t understand love due to her antisocial personality disorder. A story will lead as a man who denies love and a woman who doesn’t understand love fall in love with each other and find their true identities. The writer of Jugglers and director Park Shin Woo of Don’t Dare to Dream (Jealousy Incarnate) and Encounter have come together.

Kim Soo Hyun will be playing a part of Moon Kang Tae, psych ward community worker. Moon Kang Tae lost his parents when he was young and devoted his life to take care of his brother with autism spectrum disorder. He doesn’t have any dreams or hopes but only prays a roof over his head and food on his table.

Since his discharge from the army last July, Kim made guest appearances in two dramas, Hotel Del Luna and Crash Landing On You. Even during these short appearances, Kim still managed to show his strong acting skills, raising expectations for his new drama.
